It's a beautiful fall morning and the wind is slightly blowing

The colors are so bright and bold; the yellow's, the browns, the red's, the gold's

The morning sun is out to greet you and the heavenly sky is so blue

Not a cloud to be seen for miles...it's just your higher power and you.

You take a deep breath in and slowly let it go

Breathing in again...taking all this beauty in....

Everywhere you look there is freedom to be found

You stop look and listen and hear nature's precious sounds.

The birds are singing to you on this morn wishing you a good day

this place where you stand; you know you are safe

you can feel it in your heart, you can feel in your soul

Each step you take; you smile; you are in control.

Taking another deep breath you begin to walk through the field

the grass reaches your knees and sways back and forth with the gentle breeze

It looks as if it is forming a wave and you take a deep breath; you smile

This really is the most amazing place you have seen in a while.

You continue to walk through the field and the breeze is blowing your hair

It caresses your face...embraces your body...you feel safe here

With each moment, with each step you take, you know you are walking in faith

Walking in peace and with no ounce of fear.

You can feel the ground below your feet and hear the grass harmonizing with the wind

And you notice how the grass does not break...only bends

The path behind you is slowly fading as you watch the grass gently fall back into place

You know in your heart you are making a new path today.

You smile, and begin to feel the sun shine a little warmer on your back, and you look up and straight ahead

You can see rows and rows of trees and many colors; purple, pink, yellow and red

They are flowers that you see and your heart beats faster and so do your feet

You are eager to see what lies within this forest of trees.

You notice the flowers appear to be dancing, and your curiosity builds to its highest

Taking one more step, the flowers open up and so do the wings of hummingbirds and butterflies

Surrounding all sides of you is a sound like no other, and the sky hums, and fills with butterflies like a cloud of swirling colors

Purple, green, pink, blue, red and white.

You are in awe, simply amazed; the sound of hummingbird wings is powerful, so liberating and free

Nothing and no one can take this away from you, never, this place belongs to you and you breathe

Knowing this, believing this, feeling this deep within the essence of you, a tear begins to form

Could this be a place where my justice and liberty is born?

Staying mindful of where you are, and watching the hummingbirds and butterflies gracefully fly the sky

You smile and begin to walk a little further in search of this mighty sound you hear

You notice how the scent of the flowers is still lingering in the air, and the sun still shines

This moment belongs to you...and in this moment you know you are alive.

Unpleasant memories begin to fill your mind, but staying mindful, you bring your attention back to nature's scent and beauty

Closing your eyes to fill the breeze, your hair slowly speaks to the wind like the blades of grass

You take a deep breathe and remember you are not alone on this journey, not today

You are feeling connected; body, heart, soul and mind; you set the pace.

You look around you, and your imagination begins to run wild as the field fills with wonder

Then you see her, standing with such grace and beauty, freedom and power

A star --with a white coat of fur, stands and waits for you to go for a ride

You walk up to her...remembering the many times she taught your spirit to fly.

You begin to hear the sound of rushing water...it's calling you....and sounds so strong, so mighty...so amazing to you

Climbing upon your horses bareback, just like it use to be...Star knows just what to do

Like the wind, she begins to run free in a field and you open your arms to bare your face to the sun

Taking it all....you feel the power, the love, the safety and trust

How amazing this moment is...your new life has just begun.

Finally arriving at the edge of the forest you notice a clearing between three trees

It reminds you of the promise you made on this journey to find your freedom, your truth, your peace.

Slowly climbing off of Star....your eagerness to walk this path fills you up with anticipation and joy

You take your hand to part the limbs and staying mindful of your breath, you breathe in and let go

The air is full of peace...your horse....and such sweetness from the wild flowers and the freshness of water nearby

You take another deep deep breath...taking it all in...you love it here...you sigh

With each step you take you imagine what it would feel like if you had your own wings...to fly.

I couldn't finish that imagery on that day, but a couple of months later I did....my imageries are a continued process.... It is below....

In one moment, I can hear the rush of a calming waterfall meeting a small pool of crystal clear blue water

It speaks a language only I can hear, or see and smell, touch and taste

The sound draws me closer to touch its mighty wonder in one moment suspended in time

A time where nothing exists, only me and a place where the water comes to life.

Life doesn't feel safe, such betrayal and pain; but in this moment--it tells me all is okay

I stand near the edge of clarity to watch the water pour and ripple and circle around my feet

The coolness awakens my sense of courage and reminds me I am still here

In one moment where I've got all I need; there is nothing to fear.

Tears fill my eyes-- the weight in my chest feels heavy-- a gentle breeze embraces my face

Blowing back my hair ever so calm and speaking a whisper; leaving an imprint on my broken heart

Feelings burn and fill me up from head to toe, and I bend to introduce myself to the ripples that hold me

In one moment where the water speaks.

Lifting the water to my face, it runs through my fingers and so does an amazing energy

It slowly circles around the pain within--like the slow current of warm light surfing on a gentle wave

I take a deep breath, and can feel a connection form between us, and every pore and cell of my being opens up to allow myself to let go

I splash its essence upon my face and take everything in as deep as it can dive

In one moment I feel as if I can fly through the side of the mountain; this is my life I cry.

I can feel the warmth of the sun fall upon my back, and illuminating colors begin to dance around my body

Shades of purple, pink and yellow blend and sway back and forth as they become one with the ripples of blue

The air is so fresh and I can smell hope and hear the gentle words of the waterfall caress my wounds

In one moment where the blue reveals my truth.

A reflection looks back at me; a woman I haven't known, a child I haven't wanted to know

Her eyes speak a story only the waterfall hears and the sun and the wind embrace

I've never seen this before, and how pathetic, but then the ground shakes beneath me as if to bring me back

In one moment I hear a tiny voice within say please 'be brave', she asks.

The waterfall roars, the colors spin, and the wind speeds through the air causing the water to wave

The sun casts its rays across the waters and through me; a fog forms as the coolness meets the heat

My body falls before me, and my tears become one with the water and I watch the ripples grow and slowly fade away

It tells me this will pass, and I accept as I pull the water closer to me; I don't want to ever leave

In one moment I don't have too, the water always hears me, and together we breathe.

Caught in one moment a swift motion darts in front of me taking me by surprise

I look all around me; to my left and then back to my right

Catching the motion again, my eyes follow it's presence to the edge of a tree up high

In one moment a hummingbird flashes before my eyes.

Such gracefulness and beauty to watch her flutter and fly so fast and free

Just a little red around her neck, and a touch of white against her emerald green

Like a diamond perfectly laid in a ring, she sparkles with the sun as her wings hum a melody

In one moment I capture serenity in her precious tiny wings.

The gentle breeze finds my face, and my curosity builds to where she lives

I take a deep breathe in, and slowly let it go, keeping my focus on the path before me

She leads me to a place behind the waterfall, deep within the core of it's magnificant birth

In one moment I am in my heaven surrounded by a thousand hummingbirds.

I cry; their presence is healing, simply breath taking, and their sound is so mighty, so empowering, so energizing, so free

The colors all around me are bright and bold, vibrant and brillantly sketched in stones and trees

I welcome this new sunshine of transformation and joy into my life as I feel the earth tickle my feet,

I hear my heart beat a brand new song; I know I breathe and am alive

In one moment I am reborn with my own pair of wings; freedomflys.
