WAVES is in the beginning stages of it's existance and needs your support. WAVES has intentions to become a nationwide non-profit organization assisting survivors in their recovery, and educating, healing, empowering survivors to reclaim their life, and bringing awareness and education to communities about sexual violence and domestic violence. Because of the intensity and severity of the dynamics of domestic violence, which oftentimes includes sexual violence, women and children usually are in crisis when they choose to leave. Oftentimes they don't know where to go, are homeless and leaving everything behind but the clothes on their backs, or have  no other choice but to go back to the abuser.
